Kuwait is situated in the northwestern side of the Persian Gulf. It is bounded from the northern and western side by Iraq, from the southern and western side by Saudi Arabia, and from the eastern side by the Persian Gulf.

The people follow a Muslim lifestyle because majority of the people are Muslims, Arabic tradition and local customs. Kuwait Hala festival is very famous. The Kuwaitis are basically, helpful, warm, friendly and hospitable in nature, and this makes a visit to the country more memorable and enriching.


Kuwait has an excellent infrastructure. The roads are well maintained and the transportation is quite fast and modern. There are public and private bus systems to pay off for the lack of railways. The international airport is situated to the southern side of Kuwait city.

Kuwait has one of the best growing economies in the World. Kuwait has a developed banking system. The largest bank is the National Bank of Kuwait. Major industries include shipping, construction, cement, water desalination, construction materials and financial services. Kuwait’s climate limits agricultural development. As a result, almost all the requirements of the food is fulfilled by imports.

Kuwait’s official language is Arabic, though English is widely spoken. Other important languages include Persian, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, and Filipino. Kuwait has a different and lively culture. The influence of Islamic and Arab culture on its architecture, music, attire, cuisine and lifestyle is high-flying.

Summers are hot, and dry, with an average temperature between 43º and 47ºC and high humidity in August, the fall and spring are enjoyable and gentle. Winters are short and cool.

Al Manshar Rotana Hotel is beautifully located in the heart of Kuwait City, Four Points by Sheraton Kuwait’s prime location is in the hub of Kuwait’s commercial and industrial areas. Holiday Inn Kuwait Downtown is conveniently located in the heart of Kuwait City. Ali al Salem in Kuwait is famous for its well known air force base. Ornaments and pottery is their Art Works. Their craft is as the other Arab countries, special, Saudi Arabia. Ship-building is the most industry in Kuwait City. All the Kuwait activities are in this city; also have some museums and monuments, as National Museum, Taraq Rajab Museum, Grand Mosque and Sadu House.
