These services are contributing very much in the economy of the country. It also contains Calcutta Stock Exchange, which is second biggest stock exchange in India. It contains a number of industrial units producing products ranging from electronics to jute. Some important companies headquartered in Kolkata are United Bank of India, UCO Bank, Tata Tea, Birla Corporation, Coal India Limited, ITC Limited, Bata India and Allahabad Bank.
